Miami, FL (August 5, 2010)- DON OMAR, the king of Latin urban music, returns with his new single “Danza Kuduro”. The song is the first official single from his new album, Don Omar presents “Meet The Orphans” which will be released by Orfanato Music Group/Machete Music this fall. The single will be officially released for digital and mobile download on August 17, however fans can stream it beginning next Sunday (8/15) through an exclusive premiere on Myspace.com
 
“Danza Kuduro” promises to be an international mega-hit with pulsating Caribbean influenced rhythms. The song features Portuguese artist Lucenzo and has already become one of Don Omar’s most anticipated songs to date. Two sneak previews of the music video for the song have already been released online at Don Omar’s facebook page and have caused a tremendous buzz throughout not only the US and Puerto Rico but also Latin America. The wait will be short-lived as the video will officially premiere on the web’s premiere music video destination, VEVO.com on August 17.  Filmed in the beautiful French and Dutch island of St. Martin, the videos visuals include breathtaking views that promise to help cement “Danza Kuduro’s” place as this year’s most popular song.
 
Don Omar is currently putting the finishing touches on “Meet The Orphans” which will hit stores in October. The album includes collaborations from Don Omar’s “Orfanato Music Group” artists including Kendo Kapponi and Syko, both artists that have established themselves as forces to be reckoned with in the Latin urban genre with their lyrical and melodic contributions. The album also offers tracks produced by returning Don Omar collaborators and veterans Danny Fornaris and Eliel Lind as well as his stable of “in house” producers signed to Orfanato Music Group including Dj Robin (producer of the hit “Sexy Robotica”), A&X (Alcover & Xtasy) and Lincoln. The album also features appearances by reggaeton stars Plan B, Yaga & Mackie and Zion & Lennox. Along with the new hit “Danza Kuduro”, the album includes the chart-topping mega-hit “Hasta Abajo” as well as the tracks “Hooka&rdqu! o;, “Taboo”, “Sr. Destino”, “Dra X”, “Cheaters” and more. It will be available in a regular CD version with 15 tracks and a deluxe version with 20 tracks and a special DVD which will feature the videos to “Danza Kuduro”, “Hasta Abajo” and a special EPK.
 
Besides prepping the release of his new musical epic, the king of Latin urban music is hart at work filming scenes for his role in the upcoming movie, The Fast & The Furious 5 where he will join Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and his colleague Tego Calderon for what promises to be a blockbuster hit.

Esta canción es el primer sencillo de su nuevo proyecto “Meet The Orphans” que saldrá a la venta este otoño bajo su sello Orfanato Music Group y Machete Music. El sencillo estará disponible para descargas digitales, y móviles, a partir del 17 de agosto. Los fanáticos de Don Omar podrán ser los primeros en escuchar el tema este próximo 15 de agosto a través del lanzamiento premiere exclusivo a través de la pagina www.MySpace.com 

“Danza Kuduro”  promete convertirse en un hit de talla internacional con contagioso ritmos caribeños. La canción, que cuenta con la participación del rapero portugués Lúcenos, marca otro éxito asegurado en el repertorio del artista urbano.  En la página de Facebook de Don Omar, se ha dado a conocer un pedacito del tema y su vídeo, logrando una gran expectativa en Puerto Rico, Estados Unidos y Latinoamérica. La espera del anticipado sencillo será corta ya que el video se estrenará en VEVO.com el próximo 17 de agosto. Dicho video, grabando en la  isla de St. Martin, incluye no solo panoramas espectaculares de este paraíso,  sino que demuestra el  talento musical del artista y sus influencias al grabar. “Danza Kuduro” será un éxito musical dentro de la carrera del “Rey de Reyes” y  se convertirá en la canción más popular del verano y del resto de año.
